Helping our elementary school friends enjoy recess while developing math, reading and social skills.

This year our 1,000 toys will be given throughout the year at various children's events

Our hope this year is to collect enough funds and supplies to provide 500-1,000 backpacks

In 2022 we fed 780+ families, our goal for this year is raise the ceiling to feed 1,000 families.

We hope to support other organizations whose mission is in alignment with ours such as KIND (feeding children), Generation Hope (educating young/teen parents), Sheppard Pratt, MCPS, Horizons, etc.

Yellow Boomerang is a community-based charity that supports residents of Montgomery County in need of food, clothing, school supplies and housewares.  Recipients include families on government assistance, recent migrants, and low-income individuals in job transition.  Recent projects have provided holiday dinners to local families, backpacks to students in need, and clothing to refugee families new to the area.  Your Donations will fund our future planned projects.
